Job Summary

Acer America is currently seeking a Channel Account Manager (TD Synnex) that will be focused on selling Acer’s capabilities to enterprise-sized accounts in the Southeastern US territory. This role is responsible for developing and managing relationships with executive and mid-level managers in their assigned territory. An Ideal candidate will have a record as a proven sales performer in the PC or consumer electronics industry selling into medium to large business accounts.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide timely and concise communication of Acer strategies, programs, and product road maps to their accounts (TD Synnex).
  • Responsible for developing the forecasts for each account through gathering and analyzing the baseline data from sales-out reports, inventories, and trending this with competitive and general market data as available.
  • Plan, develop, and implement timely product transitions as appropriate for all Acer product families.
  • Provide competitive market feedback (including competitive pricing, products, rebates, bundling deals) on a weekly basis.
  • Provide input to channel marketing/product marketing for sales tools, demos and product requirements within their assigned customer base.
  • Represents Acer at customer sponsored Trade Shows and other regional/national events as required.
  • Schedule QBRs (Quarterly business reviews) when appropriate with the Executive Management teams of his/her accounts.
  • Build and grow relationships with existing channel sales partners
  • Follow leads and market research to develop new avenues for sales
  • Develop a sales strategy that utilizes these channels
  • Oversee daily sales operations
  • Provide product information and details to customers and business sales partners
  • Effectively train and communicate our key initiatives and solutions to groups if sales reps, resellers, and management teams at our customers.
  • Must be able to identify new opportunities in various markets and communicate our solutions in a creative way.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience of using and implementing structured sales techniques spanning the entire sales cycle, identification/qualification of opportunities, business development, order fulfilment, and account management directly or in partnership with TD Synnex.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to interface with all levels of management.
  • 5+ years experience in technology sales in a channel environment
  • VAR and Reseller experience is strongly preferred.
  • B2B and B2C sales experience; management experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or similar program
