The Partner Marketing Specialist is an important part of the Acer America Commercial Marketing team. The position works closely with cross-functional organizations to ensure partner funding marketing programs are rolled out effectively across all partners while measuring, analyzing, and reporting business impact. This role also works with planning and marketing teams to manage compliance pre-approvals, claims, and audits of partner-funded marketing activities. The position will also support the groups on various finance, audit, and control measures to ensure reimbursement.

Candidates for this opportunity should have hands-on execution and operational experience with a variety of innovative marketing activities for technology products. The ideal candidate will also collaborate with product & creative teams on branding ideas, graphic designs, promotional materials and advertising copies. Ideally, this mix should include programs for revenue growth in commercial B2B channels in the PC industry. Lastly, your analytical skills will assist you as your monitor and report on the success of your marketing efforts.

Job Responsibility

  • Be the primary point of contact for addressing compliance and claiming concerns across Acer America.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on all partner funding programs' terms and conditions.
  • Ensure marketing creatives and plans are reviewed in a compliant & timely manner.
  • Work closely with the partner management planners and partner brand managers to be aware of partner-funded budgets.
  • Manage partner program budget data entry and tracker update (i.e. Initial allocation, incremental allocation, budget consumption, reimbursement payment)
  • Track activities, planning, and reimbursement claim progress.
  • Coordinate the collection of all Proof of Execution (POE) and Proof of Spend (POS) required to submit claims.
  • Oversee 3rd-party agencies to ensure all available vendor funding is fully claimed and deadlines are met.
  • Provide visibility through reporting on claiming deadlines to marketing to improve timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of POE, POS, and accruals information.
  • Drive process improvements to facilitate efficient compliance consultation and claiming processes.
  • Track activities (i.e. budget spending, plan submission, and approval) and funding consumption with marketing teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management, marketing operations, or finance role required.
  • Previous experience in a partnership marketing or joint sales/co-op funding type role. PC industry experience and background in partner funding programs is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of marketing, including all forms of digital communications and traditional marketing activities.
  • Strong presentation, Microsoft Excel, data analysis, project management, and operations skills.
  • Solid ability to think and act strategically.
  • High self-discipline to manage workload, multi-task, and deliver results independently.
  • Ability to work with internationally based finance and marketing teams.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Highly proficient in Office 365, advanced Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
