Job Responsibility

We are looking for a Sr. Software R&D who can lead the development and deployment of Gen AI software solutions for customers. This role not only requires strong technical skills in AI software development but also the ability and enthusiasm to guide a software development team in designing, implementing, and testing AI solutions. You will need strong technical skills to define product features for Gen AI software solutions, including researching Gen AI industry technology trends and application in Gen AI markets.
The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business and marketing teams to promote products, and engage with customer to collect feedback and optimize AI software solution, and ensure successful delivery of cutting-edge AI solutions.
Ultimately, Sr. Software R&D will become a core member of the Software R&D team and engage in technical, product development, marketing, and pre/post-sales.

Responsibilities: 
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1.    AI software development
    Develop the AI software solution roadmap and lead the development and integration of AI software solutions.
    Responsible for designing, implementing and deploying AI software solutions.
    Ensure the software solutions are scalable, efficient, and maintainable.
2.    Team Leadership and Collaboration
    Manage a software R&D team, fostering collaboration, and providing guidance.
    Lead and mentor the software development team in AI solution design, coding, and testing.
    Oversee the entire development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to timelines.
    Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment to encourage idea sharing and problem-solving.
3.    Software Solution Testing and Validation
    Develop and execute rigorous testing and validation processes to ensure software reliability and performance.
    Address issues proactively and implement improvements based on test results and feedback.
    Ensuring the quality, reliability, scalability, and security of the AI software solutions and platforms
4.    Technology trends and innovation
    Keeping abreast of industry trends, best practices, researching new technologies, and implementing cutting-edge solutions at the forefront of innovation
    Analyze competitive products and market dynamics to provide insights for refining the development roadmap.
5.    Customer and Stakeholder Engagement
    Collaborate with business and marketing teams to promote AI solutions effectively
    Communicate with customers to understand and confirm their requirements, and ensure solutions align with their needs.
    Work with stakeholders that include Altos’ partners to identify business needs and requirements, and ensure solutions align with their needs.
 

Requirements

Required:
•    Education: 
    Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
•    Experience:
    At least 5 years of experience in AI, Deep Learning, Gen AI and related software development.
    Familiarity with large-scale data processing and optimization techniques for AI models.
    Hands-on experience with AI/ML architecture, Gen AI software & applications (e.g., LLM-based chatbots, AI vision, video/image analysis/detection, digital twins), AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and model deployment in production environments.
•    Skills:
    Language: Proficiency in English and Mandarin
    Strong knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Python, etc.) and and AI frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.) and libraries, etc.
    Extensive experience with cloud computing platforms: Kubernetes, Docker, OpenStack, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
    Familiarity with GenAI, LLM, Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms, data processing, and model optimization techniques.
    Deep experience with devOps tools: Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform
    Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and solve complex technical problems
    Passionate about AI and eager to drive innovation to delivering exceptional solutions
    Leadership skills with the ability to lead a team of technical professionals
    Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the organization

Preferred:
•    Experience: 
    Familiarity with data center infrastructure, Gen AI, LLM, ML software infrastructure & architecture preferred
