【RD】Firmware Engineer

Job Responsibility

Design, develop firmware to integrate new hardware/technologies to make Acer system easy to use.

§ Embedded Controller/Microcontroller Unit Features design and planning.
§ Lead cooperation discussion with hardware/software vendors.
§ Experience of Embedded Controller/Microcontroller Unit firmware hands-on development
§ Lead and review ODM project team to meet Acer system design.

Requirements

Required:
1. Education: Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent fields.

2. Experience:
§ 3 years of EC/MCU development experience.
§ Lead EC/MCU design experience.
§ Familiar with x86 system architecture and ARM (a plus).
§ Experience with Windows operating systems and Linux (a plus).

3. Skills:
§ Proficiency in C/C++. Python is a plus.
§ Work proficiency in English. TOEIC scores over 600 is a plus.
§ Good software architecture and design skills
§ Good problem solving and decision-making skill
§ Proficient in teamwork, communication and presentation skills.
